The Friday morning Portrait Co-op offers the opportunity to work from life in a relaxed,
collegial atmosphere. Models include professionals as well as those new
to posing for portraiture. Easels, workbenches and tables are provided. Co-op members
with various levels of artistic background bring drawing or painting materials of their
choice to work independently at their own pace, without instruction. A modest $10
model fee is collected at each three-hour session. If work-space permits, those enrolled
in any of the three drawing and painting Co-ops (Wednesday morning figure, Thursday
evening figure, Friday morning portrait) are welcome to attend the other two studio Co-
ops, paying the model fee for sessions they attend. Artists should register for the Co-op
