Basics I is a class for beginners and almost-beginners. We start with the basic ballet positions and simplest steps. Barre and centre exercises are followed by gentle stretching. The class emphasizes alignment and balance to produce ease of movement. Dress: leotard and tights or other comfortable clothes suitable for moving, and ballet slippers.
