Ages 10-11. If a student is new to our program, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement. Students will take two Classical Ballet 4 sessions per week. A natural progression from Classical Ballet 3 with greater emphasis on ballet alignment and performance quality, with continued work in character and free movement technique. More specific strength training for pointe work. Two to three years of ballet training necessary.

Students may participate in our annual mini-Nutcracker in December.
Continuing through the Winter/Spring session (Jan- May) provides two additional opportunities:
Students could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Exams mid-spring, at the discretion of staff.
All students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May. Exams and Recital participation will require additional fees. Academy Ballet does not guarantee make-up classes for weather-related closures.

Dress Code: Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Aimee leotard in Lavender OR Ivy leotard in Damson pink or skin tone-matched tights, leather full sole ballet shoes and canvas low heel character shoes. Students will be fitted for character skirts and shoes during the first week of classes which will be rented or purchased depending on availability. Boys: White t-shirt, navy or black shorts, white socks, white full sole ballet shoes, and black lace up character shoes. Girl’s Leotards are available through our studio (academydancesupplies.square.site).
