Musical Autist Troupe is an inclusive group of individuals with and without disabilities. Participants select songs to rehearse and perform together in community settings. Many of Troupe’s performance songs emphasize acceptance and empowerment. The group also seeks to foster meaningful friendships and to create a neurodivergent community. This Troupe is for ages 16 and up.
In this 6-week class, students will learn about the properties of clay and glaze materials. Through discussion, demonstration and hands-on experience, we will explore how the material moves and how to control it. Focus will be on bowl forms and throwing off the hump. Personal style and glaze application solutions will also be introduced.
In this 6-week class, you will explore pinch, coil, and slab processes to make bowls and vases. You will also learn how to make and use sprig molds for surface decoration. We will talk about glaze processes and personal style.
