The Artist-In-Residence Program provides a supportive atmosphere for professional artists in a diversity of art forms within a collective art setting. Artists may choose to pay a monthly rent or make a community contribution.

Maryland Hall’s Artist-in-Residence Program provides an accessible studio space and a supportive atmosphere for professional artists in a diversity of art forms within a collective art setting. The program provides an opportunity to educate the public in the process of creating art.
Objectives of the AIR Program:
- To provide the community with a diverse and dynamic group of artists in residence reflecting multiple disciplines in the arts.
- To enrich the community with services that may include the artist’s involvement in demonstrations, lectures, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, open studios, and performances.
- To act as ambassadors for Maryland Hall in the community, and to encourage new audiences to participate in the arts.
- To inspire artistic cross-fertilization and collaboration at Maryland Hall and beyond.
Building hours during which the studios can be used are Monday – Friday 8 am – 11 pm, Saturday 8 am – 5 pm.
