Did you know that classical music is the backbone of many a hit movie? This will come to life at our concert with classical music from movies including 2001: A Space Odyssey, Up!, Godfather III, and more! Soprano Natalie Conte and mezzo-soprano Jennifer Blades, will interpret the music that helps make the movies magical.

We will also feature the talent of the winners of our 2026 Young Artists Concerto Competition: clarinetist Juniper Brinegar of Montgomery Blair High School; cellist Christopher Chung of Howard County; and violinist Yuto Shimomura of Walter Johnson High School. Each will perform as a soloist with the Naptown Philharmonic. Close your eyes and you’ll think the solos are performance by mature musicians! You will be amazed by the talent of these young artists!
