The Armorial Ensemble

April 14 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

In partnership with the Embassy of Brazil

The Armorial Ensemble

The Armorial Ensemble invites the audience into rural Brazil to a time when simplicity reigns, and values were shared orally from one generation to the next. Playfully, the group, composed of Marcello Linhos on the viola caipira and vocals, Nelson Latif on 7-string guitar, and Marcelo Lima on mandolin, will engage the audience in the songs of the times with the traditional instruments and songs of Brazil. Their goal is to reconnect our hearts to the rural and Inland  Feeling that resides in us, simple and elaborate at the same time. The artists have taken their music across the world. The music is for all ages.
