More than 40 “street photographs” – taken by Annapolis photographer Peter T West in the early morning and early evening hours during a week in November of 2024 – capture everyday Cubans in Havana, including a young people’s string quartet concert, a Santeria performance, up-and-coming young boxers, and, of course, vintage American cars and their drivers.  The exhibit also includes images taken in the rural town of Vinales, home to a national park, depict the area where tobacco is grown to make the island nation’s famous cigars.

An Opening Reception will be held on Sept. 14, 2025 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the Visitor Center, home to the park’s galleries. The Visitor Center is open from 9 – 4 on Weekdays and 10 – 4 on Weekends. Entrance to the park is $6 per vehicle. This fee is waived for the reception only.
