Frankenstein 2K is a student-written adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic novel, created by students in Apex Arts’ Transforming a Classic course. Reimagined through the lens of Y2K technology and early internet culture, the production follows college freshman Victor Frankenstein as his obsession with innovation and discovery leads him to create something he cannot control. Blending humor, horror, and heart, this original adaptation explores timeless questions about ambition, responsibility, and what it means to be human.

The production is co-directed by Francesca Chilcote and Emily Gerbasi and showcases the creativity and talents of local student writers, performers, and designers.
