Live Arts Maryland celebrates America’s 250th birthday with music that helped shape our nation, featuring George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and a program honoring the great American songbook. The concert also highlights the richness of Broadway, with selections from Ragtime and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel, performed by the Annapolis Chorale and a stellar lineup of guest soloists.

Featured artists include Kevin Cole, world-renowned pianist and master interpreter of George Gershwin’s music; Arbender Robinson, a veteran Broadway performer with credits spanning Ragtime, The Lion King, and Hairspray; Raissa Katona Bennett, celebrated Broadway and concert artist best known for her performances in The Phantom of the Opera; and Imara Ashton, an exciting rising vocal talent bringing fresh energy to the American stage.
