Poster Session Purpose

The poster session at the 2025 Greater Baltimore Climate Summit is an opportunity for

professionals, community members, students, and researchers to share projects,

initiatives, and insights that align with this year’s theme: “Resilience, community, and

action in the face of uncertainty.” Posters should reflect ongoing efforts, innovative

ideas, or collaborative approaches that strengthen climate resilience and community

engagement in the Greater Baltimore region.

Poster Session Format

  • In-person Presentation: Poster presenters will display their posters on easels provided by the Summit Committee. Presenters are responsible for printing and mounting their posters themselves.
  • Presenter Engagement: Presenters are expected to be available near their posters during designated times (lunch and breaks) to engage with attendees and answer questions.
  • Virtual Gallery: All final poster PDFs will be showcased in an online StoryMap gallery.

Timeline & Deadlines

  • September 30, 2025: Poster Title & Abstract (250 words max) due
  • October 15, 2025: Final PDF version of the poster due for virtual gallery inclusion
  • November 3, 2025: Printed and mounted posters must be brought to the Summit and displayed at the start of the day
