In this outrageous comedy by playwright Molière, Argan, a wealthy man and hypochondriac, wishes to marry off his daughter Angélique to a doctor from a family of doctors to save money. However, his daughter wishes to marry her lover Cléante instead. When she refuses to obey, she is given four days to agree or become a nun, and the entire household comedically attempts to change her father’s mind.
Performances are on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in the outdoor courtyard at Reynolds Tavern in Annapolis. Seating begins at 6:30 pm.

Reynolds Tavern offers a full courtyard dinner menu and bar services. There is a Food and Beverage Minimum of $20 per person. A 20% gratuity will be automatically added to each check. Food, beverage, and gratuity are not included in the price of the theatre ticket.

ARRIVAL TIME AT REYNOLDS TAVERN: We encourage patrons to arrive between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm to enjoy a pre-show dinner at Reynolds Tavern. All patrons should arrive no later than 7:00 pm for the performance. Dinner, drinks, and gratuity are not included in the ticket price.
