She was selected as a fellow for the prestigious The Black List x Women in Film Episodic Lab in 2019 and as a rising director in the 2024 Women in Film Directing Fellowship. \nOriginally from New York City\, of Puerto Rican descent\, Kim grew up above her family’s Hell’s Kitchen funeral home (picture SIX FEET UNDER in DAREDEVIL’s Neighborhood). She worked her way through college covering the night shift at her family’s business and graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Creative Writing. \nKim is a lifelong fan of genre film and TV with a particular love for Horror\, Sci-Fi\, and Thrillers. \nWe will also screen some “behind the scenes” vignettes from her productions to give you a peek at her creative process\, and best of all\, Kim will appear at the screening via Zoom for a live audience Q&A! \nAs usual\, we will discuss the film and the music afterward\, with drinks and nibbles. \nWe look forward to seeing you at AND Film Club! \nFriday\, August 28th\nDoors open at 6pm\nProgram rolls at 6:30pm \n…………………………………….. \nCome curious\, leave inspired.
