The AiE showcases are designed to present Artists with educational programs to the AiE Grant applicants prior to applying for their AiE Grants. A minimum of two showcases are presented every year at a host school or venue. Host locations rotate throughout the county and are meant to give everyone the opportunity to see Artists at work before AiE Grant applications are due.
About 20 Artists are selected to present a 10 minute snippet of their educational productions to school faculty, staff, PTO/PTA groups and Cultural Arts Coordinators. While students thoroughly enjoy the assemblies, potential grantees are given the opportunity to see how the students and Artists interact firsthand.
Artists: You may apply to present at a showcase, have an information table at the showcase or both. If you are interested in receiving more information, please join our mailing list and apply for our AiE Directory. You must be listed in our Directory to appear in a showcase. Application are accepted and reviewed as they are received.
Schools: If you are interested in hosting a showcase, please contact our office by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (410) 222-7949.
