SUMMARY:The Armorial Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Embassy of Brazil  \nThe Armorial Ensemble  \nThe Armorial Ensemble invites the audience into rural Brazil to a time when simplicity reigns\, and values were shared orally from one generation to the next. Playfully\, the group\, composed of Marcello Linhos on the viola caipira and vocals\, Nelson Latif on 7-string guitar\, and Marcelo Lima on mandolin\, will engage the audience in the songs of the times with the traditional instruments and songs of Brazil. Their goal is to reconnect our hearts to the rural and Inland  Feeling that resides in us\, simple and elaborate at the same time. The artists have taken their music across the world. The music is for all ages.   \nTuesday\, April 14\, 2026\, at 7 PM  \nSt. John’s College Great Hall  \nCollege Avenue\, Annapolis\, Maryland  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe performance is presented in partnership with the Embassy of Brazil and by World Artists Experiences with St. John’s College. \nThe venue is St. John’s College\, Great Hall\, College Avenue\, Annapolis\, MD\, on April 14 in the Great Hall at 7 PM. \nDoors open at 645. SUMMARY:LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
DESCRIPTION:The Lunar New Year Celebration will be held at Key Auditorium at St. John’s College\, Annapolis\, Maryland\, on Sunday\, February 22\, 2026\, at 3 PM. The celebration will include orchestra\, choir\, martial arts\, acrobatics\, and dance by the renowned Art Troupe of Renmin University in Beijing\, and will feature students ages 13-17 who excel in both artistic talent and academics. The students come from China’s most influential youth orchestra and choir. \nThe celebration is on a first come first serve basis. \nThe experience is presented through World Artists Experiences\, a local non-profit bridging people and cultures\, and is free of charge. DESCRIPTION:18th Annual International Film Festival  February 10 – March 10\, 2026  \nWorld Artists Experiences sponsors the film in partnership with respective embassies\, international organizations\, institutions\, and\, periodically\, with individual filmmakers.   \nThe festival recognizes the importance of bridging people and cultures worldwide.  \nGuide for Attending the Virtual Film Festival  \nIn order to attend the 2024 Bridges to the World International Film Festival\,  attendees will need to follow the Zoom link below and provide a valid name and  email address to attend. After the  introduction\, we will post the film’s screening URL in the chat box of the Zoom  Webinar Platform. Guests will then follow that link to screen the film on their own computers. After the film has completed its runtime\, guests are invited to return to the Webinar room to participate in a Q&A via the chat feature\, if they would like to.
