Artist: Michael Clemens

Mike was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School on Duke of Gloucester Street and later Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

Mike fell in love with photography starting in 1983 when he moved to Bermuda for a job opportunity. Bermuda had a serene, inspiring beauty which he wanted to capture with a camera. It began as a hobby and grew into much more. Photography has taken him across America to some of the most beautiful places on the continent.

Mike’s photographs have appeared in numerous shows around the area including those sponsored by the Digital Photo Club of Annapolis. Among those locations are City Hall of Annapolis, Ginger Cove, Woods Presbyterian Church of Severna Park, Maryland Hall For the Creative Arts and Hospice of the Chesapeake. His work has also been shown in numerous ACAAC exhibits at BWI Airport, Anne Arundel Medical Center and the lobby of What’s Up Magazine. He has had pictures published in the Baltimore Sun.

Mike loves capturing the beauty and essence of the American landscape. He also does portrait photography for organizations, groups and individuals.

He and his wife reside in Crownsville, Maryland.
