The Muddy Creek Artists Guild is excited to announce its 15th annual “Pop-Up” Holiday Art Show and Sale. The show will be held over two weekends, December 6-8 and December 13-15, 2024, at 179 Mitchells Chance Road, Edgewater, Md. 21037 (Main Street at South River Colony Shopping Center). It’s free and open to the public.
Immerse yourself in this professional art gallery experience, featuring a wide variety of media, including painting, pottery, photography, jewelry, glass, woodworks and more. The show provides a great opportunity to engage with local artists, as well as shop for unique artworks and gift items. Holidays are also a time for giving. Purchase a raffle ticket to win a free piece of art! This money goes directly to the art teachers of South County public schools.
We will also host a DIY art session, “Studio Intrepid”, on Dec 7, 8 (Sat, Sun) and Dec 14 (Sun) from 1-4pm. Bring your kids, a friend or just yourself and create your own work of art to take home with you — free!
But wait there’s more — join us for a wine and cheese “Meet the Artists” reception on Saturday Dec 7 from 5-7pm — live music by Rich Hayward, light refreshments, and a chance to meet and talk to the artists and browse some cool art. It’s a fun way to spend an evening!
