Kathy Bergren Smith, respected photo-journalist chronicling the working waterfront in our bay and the Port of Baltimore, tells a unique story of the life-taking rage of the Chesapeake. It’s a story you won’t want to miss. Smith constructs her story from the eye-witness accounts of survivors and rescuers, a miraculously recovered diary, newspaper coverage and trial records.
