En Plein Air: Painting in the Garden
June 25 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Free thanks to the Winifred Gordon Foundation. Part of the Memorial Art and Wellness Series
In partnership with Maryland Hall, join us for En Plein Air Painting Workshop in the beautiful garden of the historic Hammond-Harwood House.
The Hammond-Harwood House is a museum of 18th and 19th century architecture and art. Built in 1774, this National Historic Landmark presents a window into the lives of the people who built the house and those who lived in it, as well as an extensive decorative arts collection.
The program begins by examining the painting The Mill by James Peale. Participants will then be instructed in painting en plein air in the garden by Maryland Hall artists Edmond Praybe and Melissa Gryder.
