Join us for an evening with Danny Stewart Jr. and Sarah Larsen and enjoy their traditional bluegrass repertoire with a modern touch. You’ll hear their original compositions showcasing harmony singing, guitar playing, high energy fiddle playing, and a few different styles of toe tapping banjo music! Enjoy their bluegrass duo performance under our special events tent on the banks of the South River.

About Annapolis Bluegrass:
Annapolis Bluegrass serves as a cultural haven for jamming, learning and performing in the Chesapeake Bay Area. Founders Danny Stewart, Jr. And Sarah Larsen moved to Annapolis in 2019 and began hosting a twice-monthly Bluegrass Jam. Today, Annapolis Bluegrass hosts retreats, jams, concerts, and the Chesapeake WinterGrass Festival (chesapeakewintergrass.com).

Sarah is a multi-instrumentalist, performing with a variety of acts including Rebecca Frazier, the Black-Eyed Suzies and Geraldine. She is a highly-sought after teacher and award-winning fiddle player. Danny is a former faculty member at East Tennessee State University who has performed with legends including Del McCoury, Bobby Osbourne, Rhonda Vincent, Larry Stephenson, Ricky Skaggs, and more. He is also the owner of Annapolis’ Turtle Hill Banjo Company, providing sales and service internationally for excellent new and vintage banjos.
