This show features Dr. Sally Ride, America’s first female astronaut and its youngest. Learn about her journey and its challenges, and play a fun game of “Who Wants to be an Astronaut?”

Kathy Bergren Smith returns to chronicle the harrowing tale of the Levin J. Marvel schooner and the Chesapeake Bay’s worst maritime tragedy in the modern era. Smith constructs her story from eye-witness accounts of survivors and rescuers, a miraculously recovered diary, as well as newspaper coverage and trial records.
