DESCRIPTION:Thursdays\, 9/17/26-12/17/26\, 7:30-9:00pm\, Room 306\, Price: $322.92 (TFA26ABS93) \nAges 15+ If a student is new to our program\, please contact us prior to registration to discuss placement. This is the fourth level of the Royal Academy of Dance Vocational classwork. The Vocational levels require a higher standard of technical ability\, and pointework for girls is examined. Students are required to take a minimum of three classes a week to remain in this level; both Discovering Repertoire and Advanced 1 level syllabus is taught. A fourth class is required in order to examine the Advanced 1 syllabus. \nStudents may participate in our annual mini-Nutcracker in December.\nContinuing through the Winter/Spring session (Jan- May) provides two additional opportunities:\nStudents could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Exams mid-spring\, at the discretion of staff.\nAll students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May. Exams and Recital participation will require additional fees. Academy Ballet does not guarantee make-up classes for weather-related closures. \nDress Code – Girls: Royal Academy of Dance Maddie leotard in Black\, pink or skin tone-matched tights\, leather or canvas ballet shoes\, and pointe shoes. Pointe shoes should be approved by your instructor prior to sewing. Boys: White\, navy\, or black t-shirt; grey\, navy or black tights; black or white socks with matching leather or canvas ballet shoes. DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, 9/18/26-12/18/26\, 4:30-5:00pm\, Room 306\, Price: $134.55 (TFA26ABS02) \nYour child’s first ballet class! Optionally accompanied by a participating adult\, this class is an introduction to ballet movement\, listening\, and storytelling. The class will include a warmup\, basic coordination exercises\, and creative movement through practice of rhythm and imaginative sequences. \nWinter/Spring session (Jan-May) continues on the same schedule and concludes with an optional recital. Academy Ballet does not guarantee make-up classes for weather-related closures. Additional Pre-Ballet 1 sessions available during the week for make-ups. \nDress Code: Girls: Any color skirted leotard\, leather full sole ballet slippers and short socks (no tights required). A natural progression from Classical Ballet 3 with greater emphasis on ballet alignment and performance quality\, with continued work in character and free movement technique. More specific strength training for pointe work. Two to three years of ballet training necessary. \nStudents may participate in our annual mini-Nutcracker in December.\nContinuing through the Winter/Spring session (Jan- May) provides two additional opportunities:\nStudents could be invited to participate in our Royal Academy of Dance Exams mid-spring\, at the discretion of staff.\nAll students are invited to perform in our Annual Spring Recital in May.
