Families will love the Wild Kid Acres petting zoo\, Owl Moon Raptor Center\, kids games\, and face painting\, with barbecue and ice cream available throughout the day. \nHeld on the grounds of the last Colonial-era farm on the Broadneck Peninsula\, this free\, family-friendly event is a wonderful way to celebrate history\, culture\, and community. SUMMARY:2026 Annapolis Porch Fest
DESCRIPTION:2026 Annapolis Porch Fest\nMurray Hill\nPorchfest Annapolis is returning this fall on Saturday\, October 24th\, from 11 am to 3pm. This year\, it will be in the Murray Hill neighborhood. During Porchfest\, 8 to 10 front porches and stoops become mini-stages\, and over 25 musical acts from the area take to the steps to perform 40-minute sets of acoustic music. Visitors simply stroll from house to house within the neighborhood and enjoy the performances. The event is free and open to the public. “Last year’s inaugural Porchfest\, in the Germantown-Homewood neighborhood\, was an amazing success\,” says lead organizer and artist Kaitlyn McQuaid. “We moved it from June to a cooler season at the performers’ request. We are currently finalizing the lineup and continuing to seek local sponsors. We are thrilled to receive sponsorship from several businesses as well as the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians and the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County. Now\, we’re looking for volunteers to be porch managers on the big day.” Porch managers help ensure that the performers at their assigned porch understand where they will be performing\, can access the space most effectively\, and stay on schedule. “We are looking for volunteers to work a two-hour shift so that they can enjoy the festival and visit the other porches before or after their shift\,” says McQuaid. Porchfest Annapolis will feature a variety of musical styles\, from classical and jazz to more traditional Irish\, blues\, and American roots music\, from homegrown original songs to acoustic pop and rock. Scheduled performers include members of Annapolis Symphony Orchestra & Annapolis Symphony Academy\, Madisun Bailey\, The Befuddlers\, Jimi Haha\, Dean Rosenthal\, and Doug Segree\, to name a few. DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, October 30\, 2026\, world-renowned acoustic guitarist Peppino D’Agostino will perform in the multipurpose room of the Annapolis Friends Meetinghouse (AFM – Annapolis\, MD) – 6:00 PM Doors / 7:00 PM Showtime. \nWe would  like to invite all of our friends to this very special and intimate house concert. This will be our very first “Mansion Concert” at the AFM\, and we are hoping for a nice turnout. After 11 years of successful house concerts in Harrisburg\, PA\, we are exploring concert opportunities with likeminded organizations outside of our area. We are pleased to bring this concert to Annapolis and very excited about this wonderful venue. In this age of compressed\, streamed\, and diminished recorded music\, these private gatherings provide a musical experience unavailable in most large or small venues. \nThis performance will be an intimate experience for guitarists and nonguitarists alike. As such\, seating is currently limited to the first 85 persons who sign up. To support ourt artist\, we have established a recommended donation of $35.00 per person and these donations will be directed 100% to Peppino.
