DESCRIPTION:Award-winning Korean American concert pianist and organist Junghoon Park will present a free piano recital at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park on Sunday\, September 20\, at 2:00 PM. \nPark serves as Organist and Pianist at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church under Pastor JC Austin and Music Director David Merrill. He is a recipient of Howard County’s Creative Arts Grant and has been selected to the Maryland State Arts Council Performing Artist Touring Roster. He has recently appeared in recital at Market Square Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg\, Pennsylvania. \nThe recital will celebrate the rich tradition of American music with an all-American program featuring works by Vladimir Horowitz\, Art Tatum\, Amy Beach\, Samuel Barber\, George Gershwin\, and Leonard Bernstein\, including Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue and selections from Bernstein’s West Side Story. \nAdmission is free\, and all members of the community are warmly invited to attend this afternoon of inspiring American piano music.

DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, October 30\, 2026\, world-renowned acoustic guitarist Peppino D’Agostino will perform in the multipurpose room of the Annapolis Friends Meetinghouse (AFM – Annapolis\, MD) – 6:00 PM Doors / 7:00 PM Showtime. \nWe would  like to invite all of our friends to this very special and intimate house concert. This will be our very first “Mansion Concert” at the AFM\, and we are hoping for a nice turnout. After 11 years of successful house concerts in Harrisburg\, PA\, we are exploring concert opportunities with likeminded organizations outside of our area. We are pleased to bring this concert to Annapolis and very excited about this wonderful venue. In this age of compressed\, streamed\, and diminished recorded music\, these private gatherings provide a musical experience unavailable in most large or small venues. \nThis performance will be an intimate experience for guitarists and nonguitarists alike. As such\, seating is currently limited to the first 85 persons who sign up. To support ourt artist\, we have established a recommended donation of $35.00 per person and these donations will be directed 100% to Peppino. In 2017 Guitar Player listed him as one of the 50 transcendent guitar superheroes of all time. The CD “Every Step of The Way” was awarded by Acoustic Guitar’s People’s Choice Awards with a Bronze medal for Best Acoustic Album of All Time. His signature Seagull acoustic guitar has been voted among the ten best signature guitars by Guitar Player magazine. \nPeppino gives guitar workshops\, master classes\, and seminars worldwide. Top leading publishers such as Truefire\, Alfred Publishing\, Hal Leonard\, and Acoustic Guitar Magazine Books have published his compositions and instructional methods. \nTo date\, Peppino has recorded 19 CDs\, performed in over thirty-five countries at international festivals and concert halls.
