DESCRIPTION:Now in our 25th year\, Paint Annapolis brings over 110 artists for a week of painting out on the streets of our beautiful historic city.\nPaint Annapolis\, hosted by MFA is a unique painting event that brings thousands of artists and art lovers to Annapolis the first week of June\, and puts international professional visual artists from the US\, Canada\, and Europe in the streets of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.\nAs the premier plein air painting event for this historic sailing town\, Paint Annapolis is the backbone of Annapolis Arts Month – a month-long celebration of visual and performing arts.\nThere are daily painting events all over the city for you to enjoy\, and the art created during the week of Paint Annapolis is on display for an additional two weeks with public receptions including the fun and delicious Muffins and Mimosas event.

SUMMARY:MFA's Paint Annapolis: Dueling Brushes
DESCRIPTION:Stamping for Dueling Brushes ONLY will be at Circle Gallery from 8 – 8:45 AM. Painting will be from 9 – 11 AM. Artists must be set up at 222 Severn Ave near Pier 3 (in Eastport) by 11:15 AM with your completed and framed work on your own easel. Awards will be announced at 1 PM. Stamping for the rest of the week will be from 1:30 – 2PM at 222 Severn Ave near Pier 3. Bring your work from Dueling Brushes and get the rest of your canvases stamped from 2:30 – 4 PM at the Pop-Up Gallery.

DESCRIPTION:Art on the Avenue will see Maryland Avenue closed to traffic starting in the early afternoon and open to artists for exhibiting\, sales\, and jurying. Artists must have their paintings of an architectural feature in the Annapolis Historic District on their easel on Maryland Avenue by 5 PM for jurying. Awards will be given out at 6 PM. Work will be on display from 5 – 7 PM.

SUMMARY:Eastport a Rockin’
DESCRIPTION:Eastport a Rockin’ is Annapolis’ beloved summer music festival\, showcasing 35+ local bands across a wide range of styles including rock\, folk\, blues\, jazz\, bluegrass\, funk\, and more. Held since 1997 at the scenic Annapolis Maritime Museum on Back Creek in Eastport\, the daylong festival features great live music\, local food (seafood\, BBQ\, shave ice)\, craft beer and beverages\, and a vibrant community atmosphere. \nProceeds support local charities including the Annapolis Maritime Museum\, Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians\, Eastport Volunteer Fire Company\, and local schools. Dogs (leashed) and strollers welcome; no outside food\, beverages\, or coolers.
