In this one week chair-making intensive\, you’ll learn traditional hand tool techniques and make a chair in the Tasmanian folk style. Starting with a log\, you’ll split and carve wood\, cut joinery\, and assemble your project. No experience is required. All tools and materials will be provided for you. This class is physically demanding\, but very rewarding. You will take home a chair that will last for generations! This class is for anyone from age 15 and above\, including adults of all ages. This class is a great way to work out for the dance enthusiast. Some previous ballet training is required to take this class or with permission of instructor.
