DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, 7/10-8/14\, 1:00PM-4:00PM\, Room 112\, Price: $366.39 (S26SM01) \nFind yourself at the pottery wheel this summer! This 6 week mini course is for individuals with little or no experience with clay. Students will learn the beautiful and challenging nature of creating functional clay pieces on the wheel. We will work on technique to create simple\, foundational forms like cups and bowls. You will create your own pieces from start to finish\, and learn all about the magic of what happens to clay when fired and glazed. Students should bring a towel\, wear clothes that can get a little dirt on them and tie long hair back. A materials fee in your cart will cover the first 25lbs of clay and glazes. Ages 18+. You can give a wheel a spin in this one session wheel throwing class. We supply materials and tools\, basic instruction and hands-on assistance. At the end you choose the colors for your pieces and the instructor with glaze the work for you. Your finished pieces can be picked up a couple weeks later. No experience necessary.
