In this one week chair-making intensive\, you’ll learn traditional hand tool techniques and make a chair in the Tasmanian folk style. This class is physically demanding\, but very rewarding. You will take home a chair that will last for generations! This class is for anyone from age 15 and above\, including adults of all ages. This class is a great way to work out for the dance enthusiast. Some previous ballet training is required to take this class or with permission of instructor. The attire for this class is as follows: Women: leotards\, tights\, skirts\, warm-up pants. Hair should be pulled neatly off the face so it does not inhibit movement. DESCRIPTION:Have a digital camera you don’t know how to use? Want to brush up on your photography skills? Join photographer Kaitlyn McQuaid for “First Exposure\,” a 4-week digital photography workshop covering the foundations of photography. This workshop will run for 2 hours each week and we’ll cover one element of photography in-depth including Aperture\, ISO\, Shutter Speed\, Lighting\, and Composition. We’ll practice with in-class\, hands-on exercises\, and tips for capturing moments on your own outside of class. \n  \n\n\nNotes\n\nYou will receive an email 1 week before class starts with additional information. \n\n\n\nClass Requirements\n\n\n\n\nA digital DSLR camera is strongly recommended but if you only have a sophisticated point and shoot\, we are happy to have you as well. Just be mindful that some of the point and shoots do not always let you adjust as many settings. With this in mind\, please check in with us if you have something different so our Instructor can see what kind of digital camera you have before the workshop starts.
