SUMMARY:Outdoor Painting Experience "Plein Air Made Simple" with Em Campbell
DESCRIPTION:A creative\, small group\, outdoor watercolor painting experience. \n\n\n\nJoin artist Em Campbell for a relaxed outdoor watercolor experience where you’ll learn how to paint “in the wild.” This 2-hour session is designed for all skill levels—from complete beginners to painters looking to loosen up and try painting outdoors or as the French say it plein air. Working in a small group at a local Annapolis park\, Em will guide you through the essentials of painting on location. \nYou’ll learn how to choose a subject\, simplify a scene\, and capture the feeling of a place without getting overwhelmed by detail. Along the way you’ll explore practical skills that make outdoor painting easier and more enjoyable. \nTopics include: \n• simple outdoor watercolor setup and supplies \n• choosing a paintable subject \n• basic composition for landscapes \n• working with a limited palette \n• adapting to changing light \n• keeping your painting loose and efficient \nParticipants will create a landscape painting during the workshop and leave with the confidence to continue painting outdoors on their own.
