SUMMARY:Registration Open for Musical Autist Troupe
DESCRIPTION:Musical Autist Troupe is an inclusive group of individuals with and without disabilities. Participants select songs to rehearse and perform together in community settings.  Many of Troupe’s performance songs emphasize acceptance and empowerment.  The group also seeks to foster meaningful friendships and to create a neurodivergent community. \nThis Troupe is for ages 16 and up.

SUMMARY:Composition and The Sketchbook: turning sketches into finished paintings.
DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays 4/01-4/22 5:30pm-7:30pm. Room:213. Price: $175.95. (WS26CB3) \nUsing pencils\, markers and gouache (opaque watercolor)\, we learn to take our ideas from a line sketch\, to value study\, and finally into color with gouache (opaque watercolor). Emphasis is placed on line and value in the design stages (in grey scale)\, and on learning to explore various ideas before choosing one to work out in gouache (color). This class can be taken more than once building on previous knowledge. It can also be taken as a one off. No pre-requisites are required. This will be combining concepts from my previous sketchbook and gouache painting classes into one class. Ages 15+ unless permission is given by the instructor. DESCRIPTION:Wednesdays\, 4/1-5/13\, 5:30pm-8:30pm\, room 119\, Price: $403.48 (WS26MR10) \nWoodturning 201:\nAdvanced bowls are for continuing students to learn different aspects to further their design and production of bowls and closed forms. Subjects include but are not limited to coring\, making pots and calabashes\, mastering the skew chisel\, multiaxis turnings\, Viking bowls\, and enough independent time to complete several personal projects. Nominal fee for sourced wood will be collected when needed in the classroom. Wood can be purchased from the Teaching Artist directly. Class pricing includes tuition fees and a transaction fee.
