SUMMARY:"Share Your Story with Pride" Art Show Submissions
DESCRIPTION:Show your Pride through art! Interested artists and crafters of all ages can submit their paintings\, drawings\, graphic designs\, photography\, collages\, poetry/written word submissions\, and handicrafts (anything that can be hung on the wall!)  to be part of our “Share Your Story With Pride” Art Show. \nArt submissions will be accepted at the Odenton Library\, Maryland City at Russet Library\, and Severna Park Library from Tuesday\, May 26 through Tuesday\, June 23. Please fill out the Submission Form to turn in with your artwork (attached below or available at the art submission branches). A virtual submission can be submitted here. \nThe Art Reception will be on Monday\, June 29\, from 6 pm – 7:30 pm. The art will be displayed in our meeting room until Tuesday\, August 11\, and can be viewed during our Queer Pride Hangout and Gallery Hours. \nDon’t know what to make? Come to one of our tie-in art programs at the Severna Park Library\, Odenton Library\, or Maryland City at  Russett Library. \nSubmissions are open to people of all ages connected to the broad and inclusive umbrella of the LGBTQ+ community. Art can be displayed anonymously or under a pseudonym. \nFor more information\, call the Odenton Library at (410) 222-6277.

Bring the whole family and experience the energy\, imagination\, and artistic spirit of our Apex Arts students!\n \nAPEX ELECTRO-ROCK ORCHESTRA  AT THE OPEN HOUSE! \nThe event will include TWO performances from the Apex Electro Rock Orchestra (5:45 p.m. & 7:15 p.m.). Known for their unique fusion of classical\, indie rock\, and electronic instruments\, the ensemble proves that the boundaries of genre are meant to be broken\, and that instruments once confined to a single style of music can come together to create something entirely new and exciting. Having been featured at Carroll Community College’s Symphony of Heroes\, a celebration of video game music\, two years in a row\, the Apex Electro Rock Orchestra brings a one-of-a-kind experience that is equal parts fun and exciting.\nTickets are Free\, but required to manage capacity in the theatre.
