An Arts Grant can help your organization reach new audiences in Anne Arundel County.  The deadline is April 15th.  A mini grant is one type of grant funded by the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County.

A $2,500 Mini Grant awarded for fiscal year 2016 to the Performing Arts Center for African Culture (PACAC) in Laurel has helped to fund drumming, dance, game and storytelling workshops.

The Mini Grant program was designed to provide matching funds to community based organizations that can enable them to produce targeted arts activities and reach underserved audiences.

PACAC grants provide funds for programs that focus on authentic African music, rhythms, dances of antiquity and storytelling.   Giving students the opportunity to experience the interpretation of rhythmic patterns and movements is just one of the benefits of a PACAC Community Drum Circle Event.

FY2017 General Operating, Founding and Mini Grants  are submitted between March 15,–April 15, 2016.   The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County (ACAAC) is a on-profit umbrella organization supporting the arts and historic restoration in Anne Arundel County. ACAAC provides grants and support to over forty nonprofit organizations, providing a resource for the cultural arts community through advocacy, funding, programming, and promotions. Visit the grant information on our website to learn more.
