  • About the Artist:

    Mary Ann Jung is an award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar with fun, interactive shows about amazing women in history. She has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, and Good Morning America. Ms. Jung performs in the authentic costumes, accents and attitudes for her characters' eras. Her programs surprise and inspire with exciting true stories about wonderful women who overcame obstacles to become incredible role models. They include Sally Ride (STEM), Amelia Earhart, Rosie the Riveter (WWII), Clara Barton (Civil War), Elizabeth Cady Stanton (Suffrage), Rosalie Calvert (War of 1812), Margaret Brent (Colonial, Indian History), Grace O'Malley (Sailing), and Queen Elizabeth I (Renaissance) among others. Besides assemblies, Ms. Jung offers workshops and residencies on Historical Acting, great for Wax Museums, as well as Renaissance and Colonial Language and Manners.
