  Cantaré Latin American Music introduces audiences of all ages to the beautiful songs and rhythms of Latin America in exciting interactive performances and workshops. Drawing from the musical heritage of the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, Cantaré performs an entertaining blend of songs in Spanish and Portuguese while sharing the music's cultural and historical background.

    Description:
    

    Sing and dance on a tour exploring the Indigenous, European and African cultures that shape Latin American music. WAMMIE award winning Cantaré captivates with fascinating traditional instruments – donkey jaw, goat toenail rattle and armadillo shell guitar – in Spanish and Portuguese rhythms. Workshops available on their own, or in conjunction with performance programs.

    Description:
    

    Mesmerizing music and magical folktales from the heart of the rainforests of South America, Central America, and Puerto Rico. Cantaré's original song "Rainforest Air" delivers a powerful ecological message about protecting the rainforests. Workshops available on their own, or in conjunction with performance programs.

  • ¡Vamos al Carnaval!

    Description:
    

    Experience the excitement of Carnaval (the Latin American version of Mardi Gras) with joyful, contagious rhythms from different Carnaval traditions such as carnavalito from Bolivia, festejo from Peru, plena from Puerto Rico, conga from Cuba, and samba from Brazil. Audiences sing, play instruments, and dance with Cantaré. Workshops available on their own, or in conjunction with performance programs.
