The weekend of March 18th is the weekend that Faust, produced by Annapolis Opera is being performed at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Friday and Sunday. Saturday night, one of the chorus members, Kameron Ghanavati, is stopping by to sing a few songs.
Kameron Ghanavati first began his opera performance career at the tender age of twelve. He has performed with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra, UD Chorale, the Russian Opera Workshop in Philadelphia (Iolanta), Ocean City Theatre Company, the University of Delaware Opera Theatre (Little Women; Abduction from the Seraglio; Werther), and was selected last summer for the Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy. He has also competed in the regional NATs and Classical Singer competitions respectively placing as a first place finalist and semi-finalist. He is currently a senior at the University of Delaware, majoring in vocal performance.
