First Sunday Arts Festival Holiday Edition
December 7, 2014 ; 11am – 4pm
Historic West Street in Annapolis
What do you get when you combine Annapolis’ favorite monthly arts and crafts festival with the spirit and festivities of the December holidays? If you said Inner West Street’s First Sunday Arts Festival Holiday Edition, you would be correct!
Joining the many other events that characterize Annapolis during holiday time — including The Grand Illumination, Midnight Madness, Boat Parade, New Year’s Eve Fireworks — The First Sunday Arts Festival Holiday Edition, to be held December 7 from 11-4 pm, will add a new and exciting event to the already very special time of year in the city.
The format will be the same as the monthly First Sunday Arts Festivals held May through October. West Street will be closed to vehicular traffic. Coffee shops and restaurants will be open with café tables on the sidewalks and street to enjoy lunch, a drink, or just to relax. Visitors can meander in and out of the art galleries and shops. Tents filled with the work of over 60 fine artists and crafters will be lining historic West Street from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm with holiday gifts for purchase ranging from original art to pottery; driftwood animals to quilts; leather and wood crafts to felt hats and scarves; sculpture and stained glass … many things nautical … and delectable chocolates … all hand made or hand-forged by the artist or crafter whose work represents the highest quality of workmanship, materials, and design.
